Classifieds
The market for classified advertising forms, thanks to the omnipresence of the internet, one of the most competitive markets within which Concentra is active. At the same time, it is one of the markets within which Concentra is experiencing the fastest geographical growth.
Hebbes
Hebbes (click here) is the internet and print platform with its own sub-sites for the car, property and vacation themes. Estate agents in the whole of Flanders (with West-Flanders as the last province) signed up for the Hebbes property internet platform. The magazines are a printed extension of the online collection, but also provide estate agents with the possibility to launch advertising tailored to specific targets. Hebbes positions itself in terms of its depth and has a strategy of offering extra services and information within each theme.
Koopjeskrant
Concentra took over the NV Koopjeskrant (click here) in 2007. Koopjeskrant positions itself in terms of its breadth: a marketplace in which all sections and customers can come together. In order to be successful, we strive for a massive collection in the most user-friendly media. A new business model was developed for Koopjeskrant that apart from the internet–based koopjesnet.be marketplace and the paid for Koopjeskrant, also comprises the supplemental free local newspapers. Koopjesnet is commercialised through its own sales organisation: Koopjesregie.
In Memoriam
In Memoriam is the internet platform through which Concentra publishes its family announcements.
Around 70 employees work within the classifieds business unit in Antwerp and in Hasselt. The classifieds business unit is led by Paul Verwilt.
Vacature
2007 was another top year for Vacature, the market leader in recruitment communication. The company met the demands for experienced professionals through initiatives such as the Vacature Talentum job fair, the Vacature magazine and applications in digital and web-television. Concentra Media has a 33% stake in Vacature, a joint venture with De Persgroep, via the De Vlijt subsidiary.
